Upright vining growth habit. Known as Madan Mogra in Hindi and Gundu Malli in Tamil. The "Belle of India" jasmine is a popular flower used in India during worship often offered to Lord Vishnu. The flowers are also used to make garlands and adorn women's hair. Called pikake in Hawaii.

Today, pigeon peas are widely cultivated in all tropical and semitropical regions of both the Old and the New Worlds. In India, split pigeon peas (toor dal) are one of the most popular pulses, being an important source of protein in a mostly vegetarian diet. Poet's Jasmine (Jasminum officinale forma grandiflorum) New for 2012
Also known as Spanish Jasmine and Chinese tea Jasmine. This is a semi-deciduous vine can grow to 15 feet tall with arching square stems bearing leaves composed of small leaflets of five or seven. Spanish Jasmine supports itself by twining. At the branch tip from mid spring into fall are borne the clusters of sweet-fragrant white flowers. The individual flowers, held on unequal length pedicels, are 3/4 to 1 inch wide and have buds and the undersides of the petals tinged pink. Plant in full sun with average watering. It takes temperatures down to about 15 - 20 F.
