Night Blooming Jasmine -Cestrum nocturnum Available now !
Cestrum nocturnum also known as Night Blooming Jasmine, is grown as an ornamental plant for its strongly scented flowers. In India it goes under various names such as Raat ki rani, raatrani, Hasnuhana. Placing a plant indoors while in bloom can scent an entire house. The Nizams of Hyderabad favored a sweet smelling perfume (Ittar, or Attar) made by infusing the petals of this intoxicating flower in oils. A fast growing plant will need trimming back and upgrading of pot size regularly. Plants are >6" tall.

A tender fleshy perennial plant in the family Lamiaceae with an oregano-like flavor and odor.
In India the leaves have many medicinal and ayurvedic applications. Known as Panikoorka in Malayalam, Vaamaku in Telugu, Doddapatre in Kannada, Pathurchur in Marathi, Patta ajwain in Hindi, and Karpuravalli in Tamil, it is used for treating cold, cough, and fever in infants.
In Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh the leaves are dipped in chick pea batter and fried like pakoras(bajjis).
Around the world the names include Cuban oregano, Spanish thyme, Oregano Brujo (Puerto Rico), Indian Borage, Hung chanh (Vietnam), Mexican thyme, Big Thyme (Grenada) and Mexican mint.

Poet's Jasmine (Jasminum officinale forma grandiflorum) - Available now
Also known as Spanish Jasmine, French perfume and Chinese tea Jasmine. This is a semi-deciduous vine can grow to 15 feet tall with arching square stems bearing leaves composed of small leaflets of five or seven. Spanish Jasmine supports itself by twining. At the branch tip from mid spring into fall are borne the clusters of sweet-fragrant white flowers. The individual flowers, held on unequal length pedicels, are 3/4 to 1 inch wide and have buds and the undersides of the petals tinged pink. Plant in full sun with average watering. It takes temperatures down to about 15 - 20 F. Known as Jadimalli in Tamil, and Pitchy-poo in Malayalam. Recognized as Pakistan's National flower. Available now.
