Bitter Gourd - Sayonara

Oriental type bittergourd that is less bitter than the Indian varieties. A very high yielding high quality hybrid. The plants are vigorous and early. Fruits are shiny green with continuous attractive ribs and few bubbles. Fruits are 15 inches in length with blunt end and weighing upto 1.5 lbs.

Bitter gourd seeds are considered difficult to germinate. We recommend filing the sides of the seed coat with a nail file and soaking the seed in warm water overnight before sowing 1/2 in deep.
