NEW!-Lotus Seeds(Nelumbo nucifera)

Nelumbo is a genus of aquatic plants  consistenting of solely two species. Nelumbo nucifera is the species also known as the sacred, or Indian lotus.(Ironically the genus "Lotus" is reserved for a completely unrelated flower). While the lotus is the national flower of India and Vietnam, its flowers can be found throughout much of Asia.

Indian Lotus can be grown in water as deep as 8ft and as shallow as 1ft. It recommended to use shallow water in cooler climates. 

 Different parts of the plant are consumed in different ways throughout Asia. Most noteably the Lotus flower has a significant symbolic importance in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the path to spiritual enlightenment.
