The leaves are a rich source of iron, vitamin A, calcium, protein, vitamin K, vitamin E, vitamin D, vitamin C, folic acid, thiamine, riboflavin, nicotinic acid, pyridoxine, antioxidants as carotene, flavones, indoles and Isothiocyanates, essential amino acids, along with iron, potassium, manganese, magnesium, copper and zinc which are important components of cell and body fluids
Best grown in soil rich in compost, and earthworm manure. .
